I think I always wanted to be a dad.

But then when it actually happens, I don't think you can ever be fully ready for that.

For me, being an #everydaydad, unfortunately means missing so much (despite the daily photo updates). I work a full week, meaning even though 'jolly jumper' and bath time is everyday, I'm only around for a fraction of it. So making the most of all the days and hours I do spend with my son, is then that much more important.

That’s one of the main things I learned from my own dad over the years, seeing him always be so generous with his time and patient with everyone of the kids in our immediate and extended family.

Just with a totally hands on approach, making those connections so much closer.
Now at 7 months old, little Jacob still constantly amazes me with how quickly he's changing and growing up.

And I'm just thrilled to be a part of it.
